How Claims WorkHow does your claim system work?First of all, we ask that you or the repair facilicy call us on the toll-free phone number listed on your contract before repairs are started. We never ask a repair facility to honor our warranty when you take your vehicle to them for repair! We pay the repair bill via instant credit card. We never ask the repair facility for credit or to accept our check, unless they do not accept credit cards, in which case we would mail them a check or wire the funds to them. We are just paying for your repair bill. You are the customer and it is your vehicle they are repairing. They are going to ask you to sign the work order for your vehicle. We are simply paying the approved repairs. You pay whatever deductible is stated on your contract and we pay the difference instantly via credit card before your vehicle leaves the shop. We have done this thousands of times per week since 1974. You may take your vehicle to any garage or dealership of your choice nationwide. We pay retail parts and labor, where we update labor rates and parts pricing daily. You or the repair facility must call us at our toll-free number listed on your contract and speak with one of our ASE Certified Mechanic Adjusters and receive authorization before repairs are started. Our mechanics will review the vehicle problem with the shop and approve the needed repairs. This review with the repair facility is nothing more than you would do if you were paying the repair bill yourself. We are paying for the repair and we must insure that the facility is repairing your vehicle correctly in order to avoid any future problems for you. Do you have an after-hours claims hotline?Yes, the number is (602) 989-2446. We are one of the few warranty companies to have 24-hour claims service. Our claims office has an adjuster carrying a wireless phone for calls 7-days a week, nights and weekends. The after-hours phone number is also available by calling the regular toll-free Claims number listed on your contract and you will be informed of the telephone number to call if you need Emergency Claims Service. What if I don't know where to take the vehicle for repairs?If you don't have a place to take your vehicle for repair, please call our toll-free number and let us suggest one. We have national deals with Firestone, Pep Boys, Goodyear, and many transmission companies like AAMCO, Cottman Transmission, and hundreds of others. In the last 30 years, we have completed repairs in hundreds of thousands of garages and dealerships across the nation. We will recommend one of these facilities if you don't know where to have your vehicle repaired. If you have a transmission problem, we suggest that you call us before you take it anywhere as dealers and most garages do not repair transmissions; they are only able to replace them.
